Pipe Works: overview
Renewal, repair, modification, fabrication and installation of piping circuits belonging to the vessel's various service systems. Work on carbon steel and stainless steel piping systems covers the full sequence — taking site measurements of existing lines, preparing pipe spools in the workshop, fitting flanges and connection elements, and installation onboard.
A vessel's piping circuits keep many service systems running — cooling, fuel, lubrication, ballast, bilge and fire-fighting among them. When lines need renewing because of corrosion, leaks or system changes, accurate measurement and the right material choice are the key to completing the job quickly and reliably.

The line to be renewed is inspected onboard and its routing and dimensions are recorded.

Lines are installed onboard, checked and handed over.

Which piping materials do you work with?
We renew, repair, modify, fabricate and install carbon steel and stainless steel piping belonging to the vessel’s service systems.
Do you need a sample of the old pipe?
Site measurements of the existing line are usually sufficient. Where needed, the old spool is used as a reference for fabrication.
Can pipe works be completed while the vessel is in port?
Yes. Depending on the scope, measurement, workshop fabrication and installation can be planned while the vessel is at port, in a shipyard or at anchorage.
